This was my first protest rally, and it was definatly a different experience. Some speeches were given, there was a good deal of excitment and a crowd of about 1,000. Tonight is the big AZ rally which I will not be attending. Here are some pictures of the event.
The kids are great for the emotional impact. These were my two favorite.
Then there's this guy who's partying like it's 1773...apparently it was not a very fun party.
I almost got a picture of the only two black guys that showed up, but by the time I got my camera ready they were gone. I thought it would be great to show some diversity....maybe next year.

I can't believe you got to go to that. I was watching a little of it on Hannedy and I loved that 90% of the shots were black people :) It's like watch Mo Tab during conference, the non white people are sure to get on camera!
